Services

Heartwood Wisdom offers in‑person experiences and retreats focused on nature connection, reflection, and emotional/spiritual growth.
These experiences may include gentle walking in nature, guided practices, group sharing, and quiet reflection.

We do not provide medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment.

Personal Responsibility 

By participating, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have guardian consent) and are physically and emotionally able to take part in gentle outdoor activities. You are responsible for your own well-being, choices, and actions during and after any experience. Our sessions take place in low-risk natural environments, but being outdoors carries inherent risks such as uneven ground, insects, and weather changes. By participating, you accept these ordinary risks, agree to wear appropriate clothing, and will inform the facilitator of any health concerns before we begin.

 

Heartwood Wisdom experiences involve emotional and spiritual exploration which can bring up strong feelings. You understand these experiences are for personal growth, not therapy or counseling. You are responsible for seeking professional support outside of our sessions if needed. You may choose to pause or step away from an activity at any time if you feel uncomfortable. Nothing offered is intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical or mental health condition, nor replace professional care.

Always consult with a qualified healthcare or mental health professional about any questions or concerns regarding your health or well‑being.

Bookings Liability and Governing Law

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

Rescheduling by Participants

  • If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • We offer rescheduling only. We do not offer refunds.

  • If you do not attend your scheduled experience and have not arranged a reschedule in advance, your booking may be forfeited.

Changes or Cancellations by Heartwood Wisdom

  • We may need to reschedule or cancel an experience due to weather, safety concerns, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • If we reschedule, you will be offered a new date or a credit toward a future experience.

  • If we cancel and cannot offer a suitable alternative, we will work with you to find a reasonable solution, which may include a credit toward a future experience.

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heartwood Wisdom and its facilitators are not liable for any injury or loss arising from your participation, except in cases of gross negligence. 

  • You participate voluntarily and accept full responsibility for your own safety, choices, and well‑being.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable law in the State of Kansas.

We respect your privacy. Any personal information you share with us (such as contact details or health information you choose to disclose) will be used only for:

  • Managing your booking and participation, and

  • Communicating with you about our services.
